KSI manufactures and distributes, mechanically and hydraulically operated pressure containing devises, known as Blowout Preventers (BOP, BOPs). BOPs function independently while bolted to a wellhead and/or other devises as a piece of the wellhead stack. KSI manufactures 3K psi and 5K psi ram style BOPs, their bodies, component parts, and all included ram packers and top seals. Along with production of our own style BOPs, our expertise in other manufacturers products is vast. KSI can provide you with stripper rubbers and heads, both Washington and BIW. KSI first received the American Petroleum Institute (API) certificate of authority on August 7, 1985. KSI is in the final audit queue for API specifications for drill-through equipment (API Spec 16A), as well as specifications for quality management system for manufacturing organizations (API Spec Q1).
